When the Kia Soul first debuted ten years ago, American drivers had never seen anything quite like it, from its spunky design to its punchy performance. Now, a change-heavy decade down the line, the Kia Soul is still one-of-a-kind and, if the new sneak-peaks of the 2020 Kia Soul are any indication, it seems like that much will stay the same.
Here is what you can expect from the upcoming 2020 Kia Soul:
The 2020 Kia Soul will feature an available Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT), a state-of-the-art update to the classic Continuously Variable Transmission system that allows for smoother, snappier driving. It will be powered by a 1.6-liter Turbocharged engine paired with a seven-speed Dual-Clutch Automatic Transmission.
The 2020 Kia Soul will make available the full suite of Kia Drive Wise safety and active driver assistive technologies. This will include Blind Spot Collision Warning, Driver Attention Warning, Forward Collision Warning, Forward Collision Avoidance, Lane Change Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning, and Smart Cruise Control.
The unique, eye-catching style of the Kia Soul is upheld in its 2020 incarnation. The classic look is enhanced with a sophisticated selection of Designer Collection two-tone colorways, new available LED daytime running lights, and 18-inch alloy wheels. The X-Line trim option is ideal for drivers on the hunt for a more sport-ready, rugged driving experience.
Your world is at your fingertips behind the wheel of the 2020 Kia Soul. In the cockpit, you’ll find a 10.25-inch color touchscreen display and an 8-inch Head-Up Display. From these, you will be able to switch between your favorite smartphone based media, messaging, and navigation apps with ease and clarity. The 2020 Kia Soul will also offer an available Wireless Smartphone Charger and Harmon Kardon Premium Audio System with Sound Reactive Speaker Lights.
The 2020 Kia Soul is all about comfort. Inside, you’ll find available heated seats and steering wheel. It also features ultra-convenient 60/40 split-folding rear seating for simplified storage and hauling.
