The 2023 Kia Stinger is available at two trim levels: GT-Line and GT2. 

 

Performance

The two trims of the 2023 Stinger are equipped with different powertrains. The Stinger GT-Line has a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine under the hood that delivers 300 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque. But if you want the utmost performance possible, choose the Stinger GT2.

This powerhouse has a twin turbocharged 3.3-liter V6 roaring under the hood. It generates a massive 368 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque. Beyond pure power, the Stinger GT2 features a valved exhaust system that lets everyone know you’re coming. You’ll also appreciate Launch Control, which boosts you forward and gets your heart pumping. The Stinger GT2 also has a Limited-Slip Differential that distributes power evenly to the rear wheels under various conditions.

Both 2023 Stinger models have the option of adding an all-wheel drive system for extra control. The GT2 trim, though, adds Dynamic Torque Vectoring Control for improved performance around tight corners. Both Stinger trims also have a Drive Mode Select system with five driving styles: SPORT, COMFORT, ECO, SMART, and CUSTOM. 

 

Technology

When you get inside the new Kia Stinger, you’ll be greeted by a modern cabin with some of the latest infotainment technology features available. The standard 10.25-inch touch-screen display is beautifully placed in the center dash and comes with a navigation system, SiriusXM® Traffic, and Kia Connect. The Kia Connect system lets you remotely access the Stinger and do things like locate the parked car, lock or unlock the doors, start the engine, and more.

If you want to use some of your favorite compatible apps, doing so is simple with standard Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. You can also connect your devices via Bluetooth® wireless technology or via the USB data port in the front console. However, you can remove the cords entirely with the standard wireless phone charger on every model.

For your entertainment, the 2023 Stinger comes with a three-month SiriusXM® satellite radio subscription. You’ll have access to 130 total channels of music, sports, and news, with 69 of them being completely commercial-free. You can listen to that and more through the standard nine-speaker audio system or with the available Harman Kardon® premium 15-speaker system (standard on Stinger GT2). 

 

Safety

As fun as it is to drive, the new Kia Stinger is just as safe. This stylish sports car is equipped with a long list of Kia Drive Wise driver-assist technologies. For starters, features like Forward Collision Warning and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (with Pedestrian, Cyclist, and Junction Turning Detection) keep a look out ahead. On the highway, systems like Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Following Assist, and Driver Attention Warning will certainly come in handy. Additional standard safety tech includes Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist, Rear View Monitor with Dynamic Parking Guidance, Park Distance Warning-Rear, Safe Exit Warning, and Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go.

The Stinger GT2 adds more standard tech like a Blind-Spot View Monitor, front and rear parking sensors, and Surround View Monitor that gives you a digital bird’s-eye-view of the entire car.
